Kyle Humphrey has big 4 hit night as Western Forsyth Post 522 cruises past Winston Salem, 20-6

   Western Forsyth Post 522 pounded Winston Salem on Monday 20-6 at WF in seven innings.

   Western Forsyth Post 522 scored six runs in the fifth on , a two-run error, an RBI double by Kyle Humphrey, and a two-run double by Cole Penn.

   The game was back-and-forth heading into the third, with five lead changes.

   Western Forsyth Post 522 finally managed to grab the lead after a strong third inning. Western Forsyth Post 522 went up for good on an RBI single by Humphrey off Hayden O'Neal, plating Robert Deluca.

   Humphrey racked up four RBIs on four hits for Western Forsyth Post 522.

   Even though Shane Carter allowed six runs over seven innings he still recorded the victory. Carter struck out seven, walked none and gave up 12 hits.

   Western Forsyth Post 522 pounded Winston Salem pitching, as eight hitters combined for 18 hits, 17 RBIs and 19 runs scored.

   The top of the first saw Winston Salem take an early lead, 3-0. Dalton Boles singled to ignite Winston Salem's offense. A stolen base then moved Boles from first to second. Winston Salem added more runs when Niblock scored on a two-run home run by Will Cox.

   Western Forsyth Post 522 scored three runs of its own in the first. Western Forsyth Post 522 scored on a fielder's choice and a two-run single by Kyle Willard.

   The lead was Western Forsyth Post 522's to lose after third inning. More runs came home on two singles.

   Western Forsyth Post 522 added three more runs in the bottom of the fourth. The inning looked promising, as Eric Sonafrank singled, scoring Zach French to kick things off. That was followed up by Humphrey's double, scoring Andrew Key and Willard.

   Western Forsyth Post 522 increased its lead with four runs in the sixth. Key kicked things off with a double, plating French and Willard.
