Despite hit advantage, Western Forsyth Post 522 drops 7-4 game to Kernersville Post 36

Western Forsyth Post 522 lost 7-4 in seven innings at West Forsyth on Sunday, despite outhitting Kernersville Post 36 nine to six.
Cole Penn racked up three RBIs on four hits for Western Forsyth Post 522. He homered in the third inning and singled in the first, fifth, and sixth innings.
Dylan Ward got the win for Kernersville Post 36. He allowed four runs over six innings. Ward struck out four, walked one and gave up eight hits.
Western Forsyth Post 522 jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the bottom of the third. A two-run home run by Penn, plating Kyle Humphrey started the inning off.
The game was never in doubt after the fourth, as Kernersville Post 36 scored six runs on a two-run double by Robbie Harrison, an error, two hit into a fielder's choices, and an RBI single by Jacob Williams.
Two runs in the bottom of the sixth helped Western Forsyth Post 522 close its deficit to 7-4. An RBI double by Russell Miller and an RBI single by Penn triggered Western Forsyth Post 522's comeback. Kernersville Post 36 stopped the rally after Ward got Zach French to ground out.
