   Western Forsyth Post 522 Blue took home a 4-2 victory over Kernersville Post 36 on Thursday.

   Western Forsyth Post 522 Blue Head Coach Jon McIntosh had the following to say about the game and the win, "...Baseball has been very good to me. We got down early in the game, but we fought hard to get back into it and take the lead. Will put the pedal to the metal and shut the door on the mound and we played good defense behind him. Later in the game we overcame some bad coaching in the 5th to capture this big conference game..."

   Kernersville Post 36 captured the lead in the first inning. Tanner B drove in one when he singled in the first inning.

   In the bottom of the second inning, Western Forsyth Post 522 Blue tied things up at two. Lloyd G grounded out, scoring one run.

   Western Forsyth Post 522 Blue took the lead for good with one run in the third inning. In the third Brendan C grounded out, scoring one run.

   Will S earned the win for Western Forsyth Post 522 Blue . He threw five innings, allowing zero runs, three hits, and striking out seven. Ben C took the loss for Kernersville Post 36. He tossed one and two-thirds innings, surrendering zero runs, zero hits, and walking zero.

   Logan M started the game for Kernersville Post 36. He went four and a third innings, allowing four runs, eight hits, striking out two, and walking zero. Jeb W started the game for Western Forsyth Post 522 Blue . He threw two innings, allowing two runs, two hits, and striking out one.

   Lloyd went 1-for-2 at the plate as he led the team with two runs batted in. Western Forsyth Post 522 Blue was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Brendan made the most plays with nine.

   Tanner led Kernersville Post 36 with one run batted in. He went 1-for-2 on the day. Kernersville Post 36 was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Jarrett H had the most chances in the field with six.
